Another one of the technologies developed by AgRimate is the Assistive Exoskeleton, designed by our partners at IUVO – Wearable Robotics. An assistive exoskeleton primarily designed to support agricultural workers during pruning tasks, while also providing benefits in other physically demanding activities such as harvesting and planting.
This wearable technology is designed to adapt to the diverse physical requirements of its users, considering gender, size, and strength differences, thus enabling a tailored ergonomic support system that reduces the risk of injuries and fatigue.
By reducing physical workload and biomechanical stress, the exoskeleton contributes to the prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders and promotes long-term occupational well-being in agricultural settings. This exoskeleton not only elevates the physical well-being of farmers but also contributes to the sustainable scaling of agricultural operations by allowing for more to be achieved with less physical strain.
