The AgRimate Project recently had an impactful moment at SynErgia Day, an event dedicated to showcasing innovation in digital agriculture, sustainability, and rural transformation. Hosted by the Smart Farming & Technology group at the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), on July 10th, 2025, the event brought together leading minds and cutting-edge technologies, resulting from various projects.
AgRimate was featured in the Digital Innovation session. Representatives from the project presented their groundbreaking work on robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality (AR)-powered pruning tools specifically designed for vineyards and olive orchards. This presentation highlighted AgRimate’s commitment to developing smart, efficient, and sustainable solutions for modern farming.
The agenda for the event also included field demonstrations of spraying and mapping drones within the University’s vineyard. This practical showcase featured technologies piloted under the ICAERUS EU, Oper-8, and ClimateFarmDemo projects, demonstrating the tangible benefits of digital advancements in agriculture. Beyond these demonstrations, over 15 Horizon Europe projects were presented, covering a wide array of topics including thematic networks, behavioral science, rural advisory services, and various smart farming tools.
AgRimate’s participation played a vital role in the dissemination of the project, emphasizing to local stakeholders how advanced technologies can enhance productivity, optimize resource use, and foster sustainable development in rural communities.
