AgRibot

AgRibot aims to bring smart, automated robots to real farms across Europe, taking on tasks like weeding, pruning, and harvesting. By integrating AI and AR/XR technologies, the project reduces farmers’ workloads, addresses labour shortages, and contributes to a more sustainable, tech-ready future for European agriculture.

The agricultural sector faces numerous challenges, including hazardous working conditions, repetitive labor, and increasing demands from digitalisation, climate change, and economic pressures. These factors contribute to high accident rates and make the sector less appealing to younger generations. AGRO-WELL takes an interdisciplinary approach to support a sustainable transformation of agriculture by improving occupational safety and health (OSH) through innovative technologies.

AGROBOOST is a pilot driven, multi-disciplinary project that aims to transform the agricultural sector into a more attractive, sustainable and efficient industry by harnessing the power of advanced robotics, AR, AI and automation revealing the societal and economic benefits for all the people working in agriculture, especially women, young professionals and farmers with moving disabilities. Through the development of cutting-edge, ground-breaking solutions, the project will improve the safety and appeal of agricultural work, reduce environmental impacts, enhance productivity and address labour shortages.

The ICAERUS project is exploring the potential of drones in European agriculture, forestry, and rural areas, and it focuses on five key applications: crop monitoring, drone spraying, livestock monitoring, forestry and biodiversity, and rural logistics. The project aims to present the effective and safe deployment of drones, identifying both risks and benefits, and it includes “eye-in-the-sky” applications for observation, and “hand-in-the-sky” applications like spraying and delivery. Besides this, ICAERUS is also assessing socio-economic impacts, developing business models, and engaging with the wider drone community, to help bring the technologies/services closer to the market.

The AgroTech Hub Cluster is a collaboration between Horizon Europe agricultural and climate innovation projects: NOSTRADAMUS Project, AgRimate, LandShift, Agrarian, EARTHONE, OpenAgri, Climate Farm Demo and ENFORCE.

It was created with the goal of amplifying impact, exchanging knowledge, and building a more connected innovation ecosystem for Europe’s agriculture.

This collaborative cluster will help the Projects drive greater visibility, create shared learning opportunities, and strengthen Europe’s transition toward sustainable, data-driven, climate-resilient agriculture.
